Health and Wellbeing Classes with Qigong Author and Instructor Christopher Handbury can make a big difference to physical and emotional health. It is the ultimate harmony for health and healing.
Learning is good fun and includes gentle active qigong movement & postures, qigong walking, self massage, traditional chinese medicine theory, 5 element theory and nutrition.
Our health and well-being classes have been running in Stroud, Stonehouse and Eastington, Gloucestershire for the past eleven years, helping people to find better health and feel brighter everyday.
Students age from 20 - 80+, we come in all shapes and sizes and everyone is welcome to the school. The practice does require a certain level of mobility so please call to discuss if you feel you may need assistance.
The practice of Qigong can bring great relief to physical symptoms like: Muscular Tension, Neck and Back Pains, Sciatica and Hip Pain, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation. Qigong also helps to relieve symptoms of emotions like: Anxiety & Depression, Sleep Disturbances, Fatigue and Tiredness, Headaches and Migraines, Irritable Bowel Syndromes and feelings of Fear, Grief, Sadness and Anger.
Along with these common ailments regular practice has great benefits for chronic conditions like Fibromyalgia, ME, Polymyalgia, Postural Problems and pains associated with car accidents, falls, frozen shoulders and impact trauma.
The main aim of Qigong is to keep the body moving, the muscles toned, the joints mobile and the emotional mind free of un-needed stress or negative emotions. All you have to do is try it for yourself and feel the benefits. Qigong ticks a lot of boxes!
